I go on vacation for a week and everything shuts down! Well I’m back now but about to catch a flight back to the U.S. of A. This not only means that I will miss the Euro 2008 final, but will also have to prolong the agony of relatively few posts.
But to tide you over until the jet lag and depression wears off you can read three new posts. Jim wrote a good one that has video. So go over to The Stormy Present Society page and check it out. Watch Tim McGraw pull a guy out of the audience and then shove him toward security. Then discuss whether or not that story would be reported in a humorous or positive light if it happened at a rap concert. Interesting thought.
Also at The Stormy Present Society page you can read my post about what the best bad movie of all time is. I think the answer is painfully obvious, but I encourage everyone to chip in with any other suggestions for the title.
Lastly, I had to write a little piece about the elections in Zimbabwe that are taking place today. I wrote this piece last week when people were wondering whether or not the elections should be postponed. If you read my piece over at The Stormy Present Politics page, you’ll see that I didn’t think they should be. Of course no one cares what I think so the MDC pulled out of the elections and now it is pretty much agreed that the elections should’ve been postponed. So give that a read, keep Zimbabwe in your thoughts, and let me know what you think in the comment section.
